About the Event
In this meditative workshop, led by artist-in-residence Isa Dorvillier, participants will use paper weaving as a collage process to create their own unique artwork. Paper weaving allows us to combine and distort existing images and texts to transform and recontextualize their meaning. The workshops will take place on Thursday, March 27 from 5:30-7pm. Materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring paper items they find interesting or significant i.e. personal or historical photos, found images, journal pages, or old artwork to use/reuse.
